Craft beer lovers, Oregon is now being listed as the craft beer leader of the country, with the biggest commercial market for locally crafted beers, can you believe that, our little part of the world isn’t so little anymore, with over 100 microbreweries and growing!

TapHouse 1859 has the Spotlight on the top five local breweries in the Rogue Valley of scenic Southern Oregon.

#1 Common Block Brewing

This welcoming family friendly brewpub is the latest buzz on the block, opening its doors to the public in fall of 2015. Located in the heart of Downtown Medford, at the restored Commons Plaza. From socializing and creating delicious beer and fantastic food, Common Block has something for everyone.

#2 Caldera Brewing

 Celebrating 20 years of excellent crafted Ales and Lagers, Caldera Brewing is a go to for beer lovers. Set in unique Ashland Oregon surrounded by the beautiful Siskiyou Mountains the first brewery on the West Coast to can its own beer. Caldera is focused on producing quality malted barley, fresh whole flower hops and natural carbonation! If you are traveling down I-5 or Just in the neighborhood, swinging by Caldera for a frosty pint is a must. 

#3 Standing Stone Brewing Company

Standing stone Brewing Company is a warm and friendly brewery devoted to craft beers, delectable food, cheerful customers and sustainability equipped with solar power and its own farm. Handcrafted beer is their passion, whether it’s traveling back to their Oregonian roots with a beer style made in the Pacific NW or creating a Munich Style Helles, Standing Stone has something for every beer lover’s palette. 

#4 BricktownE Brewing Company

This cozy downtown Medford brewpub serves up a menu of casual food & an assortment of house made porters, stouts & blonds. BricktownE provides a social atmosphere where you can enjoy the company of others, watch a ballgame or shoot some pool!

#5 Opposition Brewing Co.

Like Opposition brewing famous tagline “raise and pint and embrace the chaos” this fun little tap house is a place to remember. Opposition has a laid-back industrial style atmosphere, they are dog friendly and they have two big jumbotrons for every customers viewing pleasure. They strive to have a rotating selection of food vendors accessible to patrons.
