The GoodLife Brewing Company definitely doesn’t fall short of its name. Located in Bend, Oregon, they aim to create beers that stay true to the beautiful landscape and outstanding outdoors found in the area. They have a variety of beers including individual batch seasonal beers to a line of sustainable sessions. From their wide array, I came upon the Descender IPA.

This is the perfect beer for after a long day of activities, and has quickly become a regular find in my fridge. This hazy amber yields hops out front, but are balanced perfectly with other flavors like citrus and pine, making this surprisingly easy to drink while still holding that classic IPA punch. And this refreshing drink is making an impact all over the state, winning several awards throughout Oregon including winning the Blitz Ladd IPA Challenge in Portland. So next time you’re headed out to the lake, or looking for a beer to share with some friends, grab a Descender IPA and enjoy!
